Kolkata Metro Route Breaks Land Jinx
The Airport-New Garia Metro corridor witnessed a major breakthrough on Friday ( 19.6.2015) as state transport undertaking CSTC made room for construction of its proposed Nabadiganta station on its premises at Salt Lake's Sector-V.
The proposed Nabadiganta station on the Airport-New Garia Metro route is supposed to come up on a garage of CSTC just adjacent to the terminal station of East-West Metro at Salt Lake. The proposed Nabadiganta station will therefore be an interface between East-West and Airport-New Garia Metro routes.
Significantly, the Noapara-Airport Metro stretch also broke the land jinx on Monday with Saregama Private Limited allowing the authorities to access its land for crucial progress in construction of the alignment
